Fund raising

Lady Henrietta has had just one outing so far this year – leading a singalong at Sketty House Care Home and raising £30 in the process.

Her ‘brother’, Lord Henry Hoodwink, appeared at Hillside Care Home in a (vaguely) cowboy get up, helped by Alison.  This was part singalong – from ‘I’m an old cow hand’ via Spain back to London and ‘Land of Hope and Glory’!  Photos on Hillside’s Facebook page.  And another £40.

These amounts plus some more from raffle proceeds have led to funds being boosted by Local Giving.  With a small deduction for their expenses, the first £200 is doubled by them.

Meanwhile, Jean has been organising a monthly raffle, usually with a small donated prize.  With over 25 members attending each month, this raised £327 last financial year.  A valuable service!
